Clean Solar Solutions Launch in Australia

by | Jan 13, 2017 | Milestones

Clean Solar Solutions are proud to announce that we have launched our solar panel cleaning and solar maintenance services in Australia. Having experienced rapid growth in the UK and becoming recognised as a premier solar panel cleaning specialist, we have decided to take our specialist knowledge first to Australia where the current knowledge and rate of growth of the solar panel cleaning industry is similar to that of the UK 3 years ago.

Speaking of this expansion, Steve Williams, M.D. of Clean Solar Solutions beams “This is one of our greatest accomplishments to date. To see our star rise and shine as bright as it has in the UK makes me very proud. We have cleaned over 330MW in the last 3 years, with over 250MW being cleaned in 2016 alone.  This has been no easy feat, but we have worked hard to expand quickly enough to cope with demand and still provide a high quality service to our clients.

“We see Australia as a country with enough solar to merit attention, but importantly it is not flooded with companies who have the same level of experience of cleaning large commercial rooftop and utility scale ground mount arrays that we have accumulated in recent years. Hopefully, we can play our part in educating the solar industry in Australia regarding the need for solar panel cleaning and professionalise the industry as we go. It is a very exciting prospect.”

While Clean Solar Solutions are primarily known for their solar panel cleaning service, we have expanded our offering to include solar PV maintenance on ground and roof mounted arrays under 500KW and also offer thermal imaging via drone and handheld cameras, a comprehensive ground maintenance service and more recently, wind turbine cleaning.

Wind turbine cleaning too will be a popular service in Australia. Wind power is a rapidly expanding mode of renewable energy production in Australia with an average annual rate of growth in installed capacity of 35% over the five years up to 2011. As at 2015, there were 4.1GW of installed capacity, with another 15GW either being planned or under construction.

Steve Williams will be attending the Australian Solar Council Exhibition in Melbourne on 3rd & 4th May 2017.  Please contact us if you are attending the exhibition and  would like to arrange a meeting.

We look forward to providing our services to new clients across Australia and continuing our solar maintenance services here in the UK.
